I own a gun is the new “I have black friends”. Why can’t we just have friends? Owning a gun or not is a choice. I respect a persons choice to not own a gun just as I respect a person who does. I am sorry to say this but these gun laws don’t work. Gun free zones are invitations for slaughter. So what do the gun grabbers do? They double down on bad policy. I am sorry I wish we lived in a world of peace. We don’t. Cutting the horns from a gazelle does not protect it from its predators. There are bad people and there are so many great people being harmed. Let them fight back with equal footing. The honest truth is we have never lived in better times. We have to stop being emotional and start debating and try to find some real solutions without snuffing out civil liberties. Let’s start with one thing: treat everyone with dignity and kindness.
